Easy B is a Barbadian Reggae reggae artiste and songwriter, born Marlon Braithwaite. The Rastafari artiste is referred to as the Bajan Capleton since his delivery and performance is similar to his Jamaican counterpart. Easy.B was recognized in 1997 by the late Shakey Ranks, an artiste and disc jockey, who granted him the opportunity to perform at his first concert which featured Everton Blender.

His first song was recorded with Lil’ Rick (Chihuahua Business Man), it was called Hand Me De Sickle” and to this day is known as his signature song.

Easy was taken to a higher level after his first collaboration with a Jamaican artiste called ‘Yami Bolo’ as they did a dub plate for Lil Rick.

Easy’s greatest achievement came when he was invited to appear at the 24th Annual Reggae Geel Festival in Belgium show that featured artiste suchs as Anthony B, Bushman, Admireal Bailey and English Reggae group Ras Ites. He also had his first European tour and collaboration with a Dutch Rastafarian reggae band ‘Rebel Souls’.

Easy.B music is influenced by the music he heard as a child, he grew up listening to Gospel, Jazz, Blues, Pop and music that was played by Reddifusion a popular radio station at that time. While his song writing skill was developed by his essay writing.
